Can I book the city tour on its own?
No. It's always part of a package with the party on board — in the “Cologne Complete” package, together with the party wagon ride.
How long is the tour?
An hour and a half. Every Saturday there are five fixed start times between 10:00 and 15:00 — you choose your time slot when booking.
How many people is the tour designed for?
Up to 40 people. Larger groups book the boat online and should talk to us about the tour beforehand.
Where is the meeting point?
The time of your time slot and the meeting point are in your booking confirmation, which arrives by email straight after payment.
What happens between the tour and boarding?
Depending on the time slot, the tour starts between 10:00 and 15:00 and takes an hour and a half. With Premium you board from 18:00, with Basic from 18:30. In between, the city is all yours.

Guided city tour in Cologne: how it works
A guide takes your group on a one-hour walk through Cologne's Old Town — just you, no strangers. Every Saturday there are five fixed time slots: the first tour starts at 10:00, the last at 15:00. The time and meeting point are in your booking confirmation.
How many people the tour can take
A tour takes up to 40 people — far more than the party wagon, which tops out at 24. Just like the wagon, the tour belongs to your group alone during your time slot. If there are more than 40 of you, book the party online as usual and talk to us about the tour beforehand; a second tour can't be added automatically.
City tour, party wagon and party in one day
The tour is only available together with the party on board. If you want to spend the whole day in Cologne, go for the “Cologne Complete” package: the tour through the Old Town, the party wagon ride and in the evening the party on the Rhine until 2 am. You pay one price per person that covers everything — the tour is charged per person, the wagon for the whole group.
From the tour to the evening
Between the end of the tour and boarding, there's plenty of time for a break in the city. The boat is at Heinrich-Lübke-Ufer in Cologne-Rodenkirchen; line 16 stops right there and connects you with the central station. With Premium you board from 18:00, with Basic from 18:30; the party ends at 2 am.
Cologne city tour for groups: how it differs from a public tour
Public city tours in Cologne run to a fixed calendar, and you walk along with strangers. Here, the tour is part of your day: it takes place in a fixed time slot on the same Saturday as your party on the Rhine that evening, and it's part of a package you book for the whole group in one go. You pay online, and confirmation and receipt arrive by email straight away. The parties run on Saturdays from March to October.
