How big can our group be?
From small groups of friends to large groups — you'll see the available capacity for each date right when you book. The party wagon ride has a limit of 24 people per wagon.
Do we get a receipt?
Yes, after payment you'll automatically receive a PDF receipt by email — with the drinks package, free places and add-ons listed as separate items.
Can we add people later?
Yes, get in touch with your booking number and we'll add more people to the group. The additional places are charged at the regular price per person.
Can companies pay by invoice?
Online payment is made immediately by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. If your company would like to pay by invoice, get in touch beforehand and we'll set up the booking manually.
What if some people drop out?
Get in touch with your booking number. The rules for cancellations are set out in the terms and conditions (in German).

Coming from further afield: train, coach and car
Cologne is centrally located: from Düsseldorf, Bonn, Aachen or the Ruhr area, the train gets you to the central station in under an hour, and from there line 16 takes you to Rodenkirchen, right up to the boat. If you're travelling by coach, the driver can stop near the pier; the address is in your confirmation. If you're coming by car, you'll usually leave it at the hotel and take line 16 to the boat in the evening. For groups, a group ticket from the VRS (the local transport network) is worth it.
Hotels and places to stay for groups
For a night in Cologne, hotels in the city centre, in the Südstadt or right in Rodenkirchen are a good choice — all with easy access to line 16. Larger groups will find multi-bed rooms at fair prices in hostels and apartment hotels, and many places offer group rates on request. Plan your accommodation early, as Saturdays in the season from March to October are in high demand. On Sunday, it's worth having breakfast by the Rhine or popping over to the cathedral before heading home.
